It might look sunny, but it was actually disappointingly cold outside. So I just popped on one of my favourite faux fur coats and ended up with this sort of casual take on Almost Famous rock star style. Which coincidentally looked really cool with my new shades, a pair of grey aviator sunglasses.
I remember buying my first pair of aviators at H&M, back when I was about 14. They had blue glasses and they were oversized. Also, they looked absolutely dreadful on me. Since then, I've tried on aviators from time to time but they always give me a droopy face, even though I like them a lot on other people. Something about the shape of the glasses pulling down the perkiness of my face, rather than giving it a laid back edge like they do on other people. UGH!
However, when I got the chance to pick out a pair of sunglasses from sunglassesshop.com, this particular pair of aviators caught my eye: NOT too droopy, unlike this pair that would look awful on my face, for example. I also contemplated another pair of Oakley sunglasses because of those rad mirrored lenses, but since I basically have every model of sunglasses except for aviators, the choice was an easy one. YEAY! I immediately popped them on to catch some sunshine after work (when it was still warm :().
So! You into aviators, or do you suffer from DFS (droopy face syndrome) like me?
