I wanted to let these lovely leopard boots take center stage when I put together this outfit - sometimes simplicity is the way to go, although I have to admit I've been pleasantly surprised by how versatile the boots are. I like how these cropped jeans showcase a statement shoe. I used to hate the kickflare look but I've totally come around - I'm never the first one to discover and accept a trend, I guess!

I love how my highlighted hair looks against the all black top half, I always felt like my one dimensional dark brown hair was so "dull" against black, so I love how the highlights really come to life here. I've been thinking about going even lighter, but I'm still really into my highlights (Costa Del Kapsalon Antwerp did an awesome job - not sponsored!) so I'm postponing my next colour job until I'm bored with my hair. Which will take a lot longer now that I've gotten bangs which will make their debut on the blog soon. You can check them out on my instagram though ;-)

Another weekend gone by! We've kept things chill (like usual) and since we had the kids this weekend, we spent our weekend balancing all the different activities that come with running a household of four: soccer, homework, tutoring, eating leftover chili supplemented with some takeout pizza, watching The 100 together... You know, the usual stuff. A simple weekend, but a lovely one.
