So this is what a really good hairday looks like now that I have bangs. I actually didn't style or curl my hair, I just put it up in a bun after washing, and this is the natural beachy wave I got as a result! Love it. I picked up the trick when researching my new haircut, reading about Jeanne Damas' morning routine because that woman has the best hair ever. So thank you, Ms. Damas! Easiest route to good hair ever. Also, the perfect proof that bangs don't have to be high maintenance.

The outfit is a mix of slightly unexpected components, and all of it together reads sort of punk to me. Blondie could have totally worn this. These studded croc boots and the patent skirt are perfect building blocks in my wardrobe: black, so it goes with everything, but with enough interesting detail to give any outfit a bit of an edge.

Btw there was some weird guy waving at us from the window near my feet while we were taking these pictures. Totally sounds like the plot of some weird ass horror movie about abused inbred children secretly living in the basement without the new inhabitants knowing. Yes, I just basically described the plot to The People under the Stairs aka one of my fav wtf movies.

Peace out!
