I didn't mention this in my last blogpost, but since last Tuesday I am officially a Doctor in Communications Research. It feels totally unreal and totally mindblowing and I still sort of have to pinch myself, stop and take some time to realize how awesome this is, and how proud I should be of myself. I'm the type of person who is always thinking about the next hurdle, the next challenge, barely leaving myself time to enjoy a victory. As of now, my next challenge is the new job I'll be starting next Monday! I feel like I should blog more in depth about my experience conducting a PhD and looking for work subsequently, but I'll leave that for another blogpost. For now, just know that you are reading the blog of Dr. Styling Dutchman ;-)

Right now I'm enjoying a couple of days off before starting at my new job, and I finally have the time to focus on creating some blog content and catch up on all those series I've been meaning to watch (Big Little Lies right now, so good). Today's outfit is suuuper sixties inspired, obviously, and since that is basically my favourite fashion era I am loving this look. The dress is new and so cute and comfy I have been wearing it non stop, since the weather has still been nice enough to go bare legged. It's only $16 at Shein, which is lower than the maximum duty-free amount, so get it before it's sold out! I'm wearing a size medium, for reference.

This little bamboo bag was a lucky thrifting find on the morning after my girl Sabina's bachelorette (there was sushi, drinking games and a stripper). Think Twice was doing their "everything for €4" sale again and I couldn't believe my luck when I spotted this little cutie. SO on trend, pristine condition and that cheap? Had to bring it home with me.

Hope you like the look!
