 Reasons to love wide brim hats:

1. they keep your hair frizz free and your makeup from running down your face on those seemingly never ending stretches of drizzly days during fall, winter and spring in Belgium
2. they make every day seem like a good hair day
3. they give any outfit a semblance of intentionality

This particular outfit wouldn't have been half as noticeable without it, and I'm so happy I allowed myself to follow my impulsive obsession with hats by buying this one. Not that it was that expensive, I can just be really weird with buying stuff. One day I'm like "sure, why not, GET ALL OF ALL THE THINGS" and the other I can go back and forth about spending €10 like I would actually miss it. But I guess wanting to be 100% sure is better than just mindless spending on anything that sparks my attention. Especially since I can be overenthusiastic at times.


I hope your weekend was lovely! Mine sucked (except for developing an obsession with Hamilton - the musical), but they can't all be winners.
